SCK Diagnostics Inc. built SCK Vehicle Assist to help customers organize vehicle concerns, recognize urgent warning signs, and contact SCK for professional assistance.

Information you enter

The app allows you to enter a vehicle description, VIN, warning lights, symptoms, and repair information. These details are not automatically sent to SCK Diagnostics. If you choose “Save on this phone,” the information is stored locally in your browser or app storage on that device. You can remove saved vehicles from inside the app.

Messages sent through the app

Choosing “Send securely to SCK” sends your name, phone number or email, vehicle description, optional VIN, selected concern, and message to SCK Diagnostics. The app stores these details and subsequent replies in its hosted database so SCK can review and respond to your request. Message creation and reply times are also stored.

A conversation access token and a list of your conversations are saved in this browser or app on your device. They let you return to your messages without a customer account. Anyone with access to that device and browser may be able to read them. Clearing local storage removes your saved access, but does not delete messages already sent to SCK. Contact SCK to request deletion of those records.

Calling, texting, and email

When you choose to call, text, or email, the app opens the corresponding service on your device. Information you choose to send is then handled by your phone, carrier, email provider, and SCK Diagnostics according to their normal practices.

Technical information

Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the app, such as IP address, device or browser type, request time, and security logs. SCK Vehicle Assist does not use advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or track precise location.

Retention and deletion

Locally saved vehicle details remain on your device until you remove them, clear the app or browser storage, or uninstall the app. Messages you send directly to SCK are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, provide service, maintain business records, or comply with law. You may request deletion of information held by SCK unless retention is required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Children

This app is intended for vehicle owners, drivers, repair professionals, and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13.
